Sandbridge is like music to my ears! I very happily sold this unit back in 2007. Ten years ago.
THE MOST DESIRABLE senior living quarters. The folks that live here, know they have it good.
55+ to get in the door, if you are thinking of retirement living in Penticton, it does not get better than this.
The complex offers a gym, indoor pool, clubhouse, and community. I took a read of the Sandbridge Newsletter for March and it includes Saturday coffee morning, wine tasting and pairing afternoon and a classic movie night.
All the homes do look the same so long as you remember your house number you will be OK. Or, even better, you can personalize the plot right in front of your door with a garden gnome.

Having a listing in Sandbridge is pretty much the best, any local who wants their parents close to them, to keep a watchful eye, knows Sandbridge offers more than any competing bareland strata. In fact, you can’t compete with Sandbridge, if you are retiring to or in Penticton and have done your research and want to walk to the beach this is your BEST option for so many reasons.
- Location. Walking distance to Skaha Lake and Park. Tennis courts, pickleball, baseball, waterpark and the senior center is just up the street. My sons’ Nonna loves her “exercise classes” there. Sandbridge is so close to amenities such as Wal-Mart and my favourite South Main Grocery.
- You can LOCK. UP. and LEAVE.
- This unit is on the water….that’s right! If you are house hunting for a Sandbridge home, you best get on the water. They don’t come up for sale often so you may need to sacrifice this luxury depending on your timing. It is peaceful, and you have a little back patio to relax on while watching the fountain.
- Rancher style home – no stairs!
- Double car garage. These are 90’s built so it won’t fit today’s huge trucks but you can nicely fit two cars and your kids’ childhood belongings they refuse to take to their house
- 2 bedrooms
- 2 bathrooms
- Master has access to the outside patio and large ensuite and walk-in closet
- Central air, but these sellers never needed to use it, central vacuum
