I have a lifetime of contacts living in the area. Having been in the real estate business for over a decade and a third of my life in the top tier of my industry I have sold over 100 homes and have many personal and professional clients living in the community. I do work with Buyers Agency and have a unique advantage over many other local agents. I grew up here. I know the neighbourhoods. I have intimate knowledge of the best and worst areas to raise a family and also to live alone. I know which areas are best for different lifestyles and areas to avoid certain situations. Many agents are great at real estate but nothing can touch a native to the area coupled with experience, education and reputation. I am so thankful to be able to live in this town as I know it is not easy for everyone with the local economy I am so happy to see many young professionals and young families moving to our beautiful community.

Experience

I have been primarily a buyers agent as I started when I was 21 so, naturally, I helped those that would have me get into the market! I am thankful for those early years and the trust of my friends and clients. Having said that, I am more thankful for all the learning the past 10 years have provided. It is my opinion that an EXPERIENCED agent is the smartest way to go. This business is complicated and each purchase is unique with the buyer’s unique needs and all homes are different, each situation deserves an expert’s advice. I will make suggestions that perhaps my buyers haven’t considered or too quickly ruled out. Sometimes expanding a search and refocusing allows you to know that you have made the right decision and explored all options.

Relationships combined with Skill

Having been in the business for so long, I have many real estate friends. It is important to get along with colleagues as, more than often, there are two sides – one agent working for the seller and one agent for the buyer. Agent co-operation can be very helpful. Strong negotiating skills, healthy relationships with other agents and full-time dedication to the deal allows the buyer to know they made the right choice having Dori Munday represent them as their agent. I also offer recommendations to professional lawyers who offer our mutual clients title insurance at no cost to the client.
