I am the proud Realtor® of a brand new listing in the area where I went to Elementary School! More pictures coming soon!

Right close to the hospital and Carmi Elementary School, this family home has been in good hands for several years and is now offered for sale.  The location is great, the lot is flat the home has ample parking for an RV and a few vehicles. The yard is gorgeous, full fenced,  stamped concrete with a hot tub and BBQ area.

The home has oringial hardwood though the main floor with the exception of a tiled kitchen, featuring newer appliances and a breakfast bar. The large living area has a wood burning fireplace, great colours and nicely flows into the dining area, conveniently located just off the kitchen. A good sized laundry area is tucked away and a large addition that has been there for years has a newer roof, windows and doors.  Of course this family home is actually bigger than the listed square footage as their is a full basement that has 2 basically finished bedrooms, a living area, and workshop area not to mention the all important cold storage.

The master bedroom used to be 2 rooms made into one very large master suite. Great curb appeal and location. I will be having an open house in December, so stay tuned. If you would like an update on which Saturday’s we will be hosting an open house, just shoot me a quick email and I will make sure to send you an invite. If you can’t wait call for your personal appointment today!

  1. If this house’s address is 1439 Leir Street, it looks like the home my husband and I had built for us by a local builder in 1955 approimately which we moved into that September. It was built for us before we moved to Penticton from our home in North Vancouver when my husband and I were living. I made the plans with a few changes from a home I had viewed earlier but when they didn’t come down in their price for us due to their employer guaranteeing to buy it rather than sell it for less than their guarantee we looked around for a vacant lot to build the same one for us.

I loved that home very much because it was so close to both Carmi Elementary and the hospital. My third and fourth sons were born when we lived there.

    |I’m not in the market to buy a home now but thought you might be interested in hearing from the original builder. If you would send me pictures of the interior I would be very grateful.

It’s stunning to hear what it’s worth now as it cost us something like $14,ooo inclusive of lot and house.

    Hope to hear from you.
