Don’t Miss the Royal LePage Santa Parade!
December 4th 2010 2- 4pm, Parade begins at White Ave and Main, heads North, turns onto Front St and wraps up on Lakeshore Drive.
This may be the largest parade to date….there are over 35 entries!!
There will be a pre-parade party in Nanaimo Square from 2 – 4pm. The ever popular bouncy castles will again be courtesy of Royal LePage as will our craft tent (always a huge hit with the little ones). This year we will also be handing out ‘goodie’ bags from Royal LePage for the kids. During the pre-parade party the Penmar will run free Christmas cartoons for the little ones in exchange for a donation to the Food Bank. That way if it is freezing everyone has a fun place to go and warm up. Natalie Lewis (who also performed at the Royal LePage Street Dance) will sing Christmas songs and carols…she is just beautiful to listen to. We also will have carolers and our favorite the truth about propecia fire spinner, Donnalee, just because she is super fun and is a great sight on a dark street.
Lots of free family and lots of fun!
And then there is still the parade…. and for the first time entry winners will be recognized with banners carried in front of the winning float/band/organization.
The banner is up at Nanaimo and Main.
There is a VIP seat competition for the listeners of Giant and Sun FM and for our FB Fans to win. The three packages consist of four free movie tickets, four pasta dinners (Pasta Factory), four hot drinks from Blenz Coffee and four seats to ride on the DPA float during the parade. This promo will allow for ‘live talk’ on the radio and that campaign started yesterday.
Upcoming promotion will be in the December 2nd Reporter, via Press Releases to local and outlying media and live radio talk.
