I recently attended Summerland’s annual Christmas Light Up and had the opportunity to see Giants Head Mountain light up. The streets of Summerland were packed, the snow was falling and the town was beautifully lit up. If you didn’t make it this year, be sure to attend next year, it is bound to get you in a festive mood!
The Summerland Christmas Light Up is famous to the locals and it is a night when Summerland streets are packed with smiling faces, snow and great food. A lot of locals won’t put up their Christmas lights until the Light Up, as it is the official event to start off the season. This year I hear that the poutine was amazing!
