In one of my earlier blogs I mentioned that Penticton was looking at the pro’s and con’s of bringing a prison to our Okanagan paradise. This was quite the local controversy. It has come to public attention that this prison is to be located in the north end of Oliver. Hopefully stimulate the local economy.
The plan is to build a 360-cell correctional facility will be on Osoyoos Indian band land by 2015.
