A friend of mine, Mason (the See Ya Later Ranch wine maker) was so kind to refer his colleague Brooke Blair and her hubby David Warhurst! Brooke and David fell in love with a very well priced home in Heritage Hills; it has exceptional value in a first class area, surrounded by million dollar homes. Located on a quiet cul de sac with great lake and orchard views, this 3032 sq/ft home has vaulted ceilings with huge windows throughout. Tile floors on main except master bedroom. I am really excited for this young couple!
Brooke and David originally came to me looking to buy an investment property. With a down payment ready, they were well on their way to their 2nd home purchase. We sat down at the office and worked through the options within their budget. After looking at the gap in market from $200,000 and under and $240,000 we ultimately decided not to buy something for the sake of buying something, especially if in the long run it didn’t hold to much future value. To get around some of the down payment issues that come along with investment properties, I suggested that Brooke and David rent out their existing residence and use the money they saved to buy themselves a nicer home! They quickly put an add in the paper, rented their home out in less than a week and found a perfect home to buy that had a pool, lakeview and was much closer to their work.
